Whatever it is that’s worth doing, do it with integrity. That seems to be my mission on this journey and in the process, I hope to achieve a greater understanding and purpose.
Ultimately, the goal here is to create functional illuminated art that compels and provokes personality in your home and office.
Bulb options range in color temperature from 2200K on the warm side to 6500K on the cool side. Each choice will render how you feel and how the decor is perceived. It’s all about the effect, intention, and connection that people will have in their environment.
The Obelisk table lamp: a fusion of modern and industrial. My favorite phase during the design process would be the lamp base with all the drilling and tapping(threading), like crafting a fine piece of swiss cheese. Four 5/16” threaded ports for the feet with leather pads to protect any surface this lamp resides upon. Twelve 10/32 threaded ports for all the mounting brass screws yielding a unique industrial look. Brass plates in the form of a double sided chevron adorn the mid section of this lamp’s body. Four bayonet type sockets and 35 watt equivalent led bulbs provide a combined total of 1,920 lumens that are dimmable. Lamp switch sits atop the inside of this glass piercing steel body with a brass sphere. The glass canopy is supported by four brass brackets with rubber pads. A real eye catcher: this glass shade with its reflective traits has a mesmerizing effect while gazing through, like staring into an aquarium.
